The apartment matched the description, and Enma is friendly and arranged items for us additional to the inventory. We came to swim at the beach, and Enma had told us that it would be safe to swim depending on the tide and sent the tide tables, but low tide or high tide, morning, noon, or evening, the waves continued big, around 2 meters / 6 feet high, with a strong undertow and rip currents, making it dangerous to go more than waist deep. Even standing knee-deep takes effort in the currents. People have picnics on the beach on weekend evenings, but no one goes into the water. Las Olas Beach Resort has a restaurant (expensive with average food) about 200 meters in one direction, and in the other direction is shack with a bar/restaurant (reasonably priced but not very clean). There is not much else if you don't have a car. We ended up using the pool in the apartment building, but it was a little small and crowded if other people were using it.
