Year round & EAA available! A unique and tranquil getaway! Cana Resort is a beautiful Queen Anne B & B on Historic Washington Av. located in walking distance to Menominee Park (1 block north). It is located on Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin's largest lake. The park includes many amenities such as a FREE zoo, a beautiful walking trail that goes along the lake and much more. Saturdays enjoy the amazing farmers market for a taste of Oshkosh on Main. EAA is another highlight of summers in Oshkosh. Did you know this is a Bed & Breakfast?!! We supply a stash of goodies for your continental breakfast that you can take with you on the go, or consume in your room or in our lovely gardens (summer time!). Also, there will be a pot of coffee put out as well. Please note. Your bedroom has a king bed, but it can be divided into two twin beds if needed. If there is a third family member travelling with, we can provide a floor air mattress or memory foam mat. So your room can accommodate 3 people. "Blue Delicacy" is the name of Bedroom #1. "Mystic Mauve" is the name of Bedroom #2. This reservation is for Blue Delicacy. Each of these rooms is on the second floor of the home. There is a double staircase leading to them which encompasses 8 steps with a solid banister up to the landing where you see the cover photo and the roses. And then another 7 steps right to the rooms. The rooms are separated from the living quarters of the home, so they are very private, and there are no family children in the home and no other pets outside of the two cats. The neighborhood is perfectly quiet at night, and usually during the day, with only very rare exception, you can hear "a pin drop". We live and work in the home, so we are there is you should need us, and I supply my cell phone number for texting me in case of emergency. During EAA time, we can accommodate more people. Please ask for more details about this if needed. Also, during busy EAA time, we may place all the breakfast food in our sunroom with the surrounding deck, rather than at the room entrance. During EAA only we can offer: Option: A. Dining room: We can convert our very lovely Victorian dining room into a room with a queen bed or two twins. This rents for $135 per night for one or two people. Option B. Gazebo: we also have an outdoor screened-in gazebo which is very delightful in the summer for camping out during EAA time. It has accommodated 2 campers in the past EAA rentals. This rents for $75 per night. Bring your own air mattress. We'll supply the bedding and towels. Both the dining room guest and the gazebo guest would use the "mud shower" which is enclosed within a dressing area for showering and the first floor half bath with toilet and sink. Guests have found this a great alternative to the "classy" more formal bedrooms. Option C. Parlor office: The couch is very comfortable for a single occupancy. Shared mud shower use as well. This rents for $100 per night. Please note, it is separated from a small foyer with a velvet drape. The only other access off this foyer is the owner, and the owner's private locked office which would not be used during EAA rental time. Option D. Third floor "Ski-lodge". On our third floor we have a lovely "ski-lodge" type of large family room. This rents from $100 per night for one or two; $150 for three; and $200 for 4 to 5. This space has the following limitation: it is only available for hanging out between the hours of 8 PM and 8 AM. It has two couches and room for a twin-size stow-away bed as well as a queen mattress. We have accommodated 5 people up here for EAA in the past, 3 adults and two children. One couch is full-size, the other does not fit an adult, only a smaller teenager or child. We do need to use the space during the day. This space has its own full bathroom with claw-foot tub/shower. It is really beautiful up here, and you can see out of large windows onto the rose gardens.
