很适合家庭或者情侣，朋友二到三人来居住，距离Signa的市区较远，需要自驾。而Signa有方便的火车通向Firenze。房东非常热情，在我们来之前就联系我们，了解到达时间且尽可能提供旅行攻略。

Our host Cristina was fabulous! Checked on us frequently, made dinner reservations as needed, allowed us to park in their area due to size of our car. Airbnb was spotless and Cristina provided fresh towels after 3 days. Just a wonderful experience!

“La Vecchia Cava” si colloca letteralmente all’interno di un vero e proprio locus amoenus rappresentato dalla campagna toscana tra Signa e Carmignano. Al nostro arrivo, siamo stati accolti dalla gentilissima Cristina e dal suo Ettore, un simpatico Golden retriever. Da eccellente super host, sempre disponibile e attenta alle esigenze dei suoi ospiti, Cristina ci ha mostrato, minuziosamente, tutti i servizi della casa, dotata di ogni comfort, pulitissima e arredata in stile country chic, con grande attenzione nella cura dei dettagli. Elegante il giardino antistante la struttura, il piccolo bosco ricco di erbe aromatiche e il campetto da basket, tutto ad uso esclusivo degli ospiti. Peccato per le condizioni meteo poco favorevoli che non ci hanno consentito di godere appieno di questa meravigliosa location: un valido motivo per tornarvi presto!

I communicated with Cristina. The house is as pictured and the area is beautiful. However, there is not much to do other than go into Florence. It is convenient to get there by train (6 min drive + 20 min train), but I would have just stayed in Florence had I known we would spend most of our time there. Closest wineries and sites suggested were 30 min to an hour away and very spread apart (another 30 min to an hour+) so you would spend much of your day in the car. Also, the listening does not mention that Cristina lives next door which I would have liked to know. Cristina is sweet but we found her slightly overbearing. Multiple times we would see her watching us and felt we had to report our coming and goings. We are two quiet, respectful, 30 year old women so this felt uncalled for. I have not experienced this before. For people who like extra attention or prefer to spend more time at the airbnb than exploring, this may be great for them.

We absolutely loved the stay. All of the recommendations were wonderful, and very great location to see much of Tuscany. I highly recommend.
