🌟 3 Beds (King, Queen, Full) / 1 Bath & Full Kitchen 🌟 Firepit, BBQ Grill & Swing overlooking the bayou 🌟 Kayak Rentals 🌟 Record Player 🌟 Washer/Dryer 🌟 Azalea Cottage (1 bed/1 bath) available on the same property! ‼️ Other Things to Note ‼️ • $150 Refundable Security Deposit • Area outside of the house is shared with other cottage’s guests and property management. • Please read all descriptions, and check email/messages as we send more information leading up to your stay! Cottages on the Bayou is a 2.5 acre property right on the Vermilion Bayou and is surrounded by nature’s beauty. You can take a walk around the property or use one of our many outdoor amenities. (Guests have sole access to their cottage and patio. Shared space for the remainder of the property.) Note: We are located off a main roadway but are currently planting trees and designing a landscape to act as an extra sound buffer. Also, please be advised that we are currently renovating one other cottage on the property.

We loved our stay at the Evangeline Cottage! The cottage was rustic with updated features, so cute and cozy. The cottage sits on an extra large lot right on the river. We were able to walk around and enjoy the peace and tranquility. We will definitely plan a future stay. Special thanks to our wonderful hosts!
Beautiful place! We had so much fun, lots of space for kids to run and play. Cozy home, clean and it had everything we needed. We met the manager and he was super nice. Definitely thinking of booking again in the future.
My family and I really loved and enjoyed our stay at the Bayouside Cottage. Really clean and peaceful. Fire pit in the front, river in the back. Great location. Anytime we visit Lafayette, this will definitely be our first pick. Thanks to the host for the amazing hospitality 😊

The Evangeline Cottage is located only 1 mile from the Airport, 2 miles from UL’s campus and minutes away from Downtown Lafayette. Easy and quick access to Highway 90 and from there to Interstate 10 and 49. We will email all of our guests a customized digital Welcome Guidebook that will help easily locate all the great restaurants, attractions, parks, live music, etc. that Lafayette, LA has to offer!
The Evangeline Cottage is easy to get to, whether you’re coming from the inner city or the highway. We are located right off of a main road - no winding dirt paths to navigate!
