Great place if you're on a budget. Was everything we were after for a short stay. However we found the security camera intrusive. It's claimed to be an "outdoor camera for your vehicle's added safety", but is located away from the dedicated carpark and covers the access path, front door and outdoor seating area. Felt like it's simply there to monitor guests.

House was just as described. We only spent one night in the area and that worked great for us.

We stayed in 8 Airbnb’s during our recent trip around NZ and unfortunately this was the worst of the bunch. The host over communicated with us which I found excessive. 5 messages before check in and a message 1 hour after check in reminding us of our checkout time the next morning. This had already been communicated many times and was in the listing. There was a security camera outside the property with a sign that said ‘please let us know if you have any extra guests staying as this can lead to an instant $200 fine or eviction. The host had already messaged us threatening of additional charges for additional guests. We had the number of guests that we booked for. This was unpleasant. The ad says it’s one of the cheapest places in Wānaka but they mean stingy. There was no oil, not enough oven trays, one single piece of foil. We found it incredibly dusty behind one of the single beds and a little noisy from upstairs Airbnb. It was not clear you were renting half the property.

Great stay thank you - we were only there briefly as a stop over but was clean, and everything we needed for the nights stay.
