This is a very unique arrangement that feels very cool, organic, and true to the camping experience. It has charm and an amazing area of privacy. Each time I make a reservation the camper improves and builds more and more from the last experience. A great spot for grounding. 🏆😎

Our stay here was awesome! Damon was a great host, who was nice and responsive. He was extremely helpful with everything our entire stay. Would recommend this place to all! The area is beautiful and the scenery is gorgeous. It is private and kind of secluded, yet, you still have the availability to walk around to mingle and meet anyone outside in the area. The camper is a decent size for a few friends to hang out and spend time. The Lake is right next to the camper so it's great for fishing, boating, and relaxing. it's a great vacation spot and get away spot for a couple or even friends who want to spend some time away from the city life. I had a great time and so did my friends while staying here at Damon's camper. Again, I recommend it and it's a 10 out of 10! We even booked some extra nights instead of checking out the night we were supposed to! that's just how awesome our stay was. I hope any & everyone who sees this review agrees with the hospitality& peacefulness of this place!

The lake outside the camper was nice and the place is quiet and secluded, other than some clutter and trash around the area. It's on the south side of Baton Rouge and close to Ascension parish, so a bit of a drive to get the main parts of the city proper. The camper is older, but has ample space and a decent sized kitchen. Though, other than just a frying pan, it was not stocked at all. So, bring your own utensils, plates, paper napkins and cups. Also, the camper uses a window unit and is not on central AC, so be careful if bringing small pets that they can easily escape through the opened window. I suggest to the host he consider sealing in the openings with accordion wings, which would make the camper more energy efficient. Also, there was a dead bug by the sink and the floor needed sweeping. There was a minor issue with a missing key upon check-in, but the host promply responded by installing a padlock. Overall, a decent stay for someone on a budget but seeking a nice getaway.

The place was simple and you got what you paid for. It definitely needs a good cleaning!
