An outdoor, enclosed shower is perfect for the day's end, and a fish cleaning station and park-style grill are provided for your fresh catch. A screened porch with rocking chairs, a swing, and a dining table for six provides additional living space with incredible views. An exterior staircase makes accessing the pool and pier from the living area quick and easy. The first floor of this bayfront home offers an open living/dining/kitchen space for everyone to gather. Large picture windows bring the beauty of this amazing coastal setting inside. The living room offers a 55-inch TV with a soundbar and a Wii gaming system. The well-appointed kitchen offers stainless appliances, granite counters, and a breakfast bar that seats three. The dining table seats eight for a delicious coastal meal or family games and has direct access to the covered, screened porch which is the perfect location to watch the sun rise. We highly recommend this lovely home! The property is amazing - a lovely pool, a long dock to access the bay, large bedrooms, immaculate bathrooms, washer/dryer, and a large open kitchen and living room. The kitchen is well stocked with necessities (dishes, utensils), lots of fun board games and a long dining room table. The porch and outdoor area are the hidden gems of this home. The pool is perfectly sized and very private. The back of the house is incredibly private - with a nice size fire pit for cooler nights! We travelled with kids and grandparents - and everyone loved the home, the location and Saint George Island. The elevator is a nice addition, but we didn't need to use it - the stairs are easily manageable. SGI is a quiet little island, dog friendly, delicious oysters, a few hidden restaurants, a small grocery store, and just enough going on to make a fun get away. Vacasa made the entire process very easy - from accessing the location to checking out!
This is a wonderful house. Peaceful and a great location. We were close to the park and saw Bald Eagles, a Kestrel, Hawks, warblers and many other birds. We climbed the light house and ate at The Blue Parrot. We bought local seafood, visited Apalachicola and enjoyed the shops there. Having the pool heated was a plus and we enjoyed swimming on Christmas Day. The elevator was great as my mother in law has trouble with stairs. The house is well stocked, comfortable with a lot of living space inside and out. This is easily one of the best places I’ve ever rented!! Hoping to visit again someday soon. Book your trip now!
