It's a lakeside dream including a private dock with ladder, covered patios, an outdoor firepit, and a spacious, grassy backyard perfect for playing games and making memories. Enjoy a cup of coffee on our screened-in patio or a refreshing cocktail while watching the sunset over the lake. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing delicious meals together. The kitchen opens to the living room, great for entertaining and never missing a moment. Just a quick 6-mile drive to Granbury's Historic Square where you'll find live music, boutiques, and great dining! Located near the square is Granbury City Beach Park for more fun in the sun. The golfers in the family can enjoy their pick of the courses nearby. Also close by includes Revolver Brewery (25 min drive), Dinosaur Valley State Park in Glen Rose (40 min drive), and Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose (40 min drive). Our space will accommodate up to 10 guests. It’s perfect for families, couples getaways, and guys/girls trips. ********************************************************* This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a kitchen and both indoor and outdoor living areas. >Living Room - Bright and open space with sectional couch. Almost all of the sofa seats also recline. 2 chairs are located behind the couch for reading or viewing the lake. >Dining Area - 6-chair dining table and 2 barstools. >Master Bedroom - 2 queen beds and twin trundle bed. Sleeps 6. Pack n’ play available in cedar closet. >Master Bathroom - Dual sinks and walk-in shower. Newly updated. Equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and towels. >Guest Bedroom - 2 queen beds. Sleeps 4. >Guest Bathroom - Beautifully tiled bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Newly updated. Equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and towels. >Back Patio - Outdoor seating on a covered, screened-in back patio. >Back Yard - Private dock and big, grassy yard with firepit. >Driveway - Concrete double driveway with carport, ample parking for boats, jet skis, and large groups. OUTDOOR AREA: We have a screened-in, covered back patio, perfect for keeping the bugs out while you enjoy a nice cup of coffee or a refreshing cocktail. Relax in our 6 Adirondack chairs surrounding a new firepit with breathtaking views of the sunset over the lake. Dock your boat/jet skis on our private dock or store under our carport. The neighborhood boat ramp is a 10-second drive away and our double driveway provides ample space for boats and large groups. Enjoy a dip in the lake off of our private dock with ladder. The neighborhood pier offers a barrier between swimmers and boaters for a worry-free swim. The dock and pier can also be used for catching perch, crappie, catfish, and for the skilled (or lucky) fisherman, largemouth bass. FIREPLACE AND FIREPIT: The living room features a cozy electric, non-wood-burning fireplace that emits heat and a soft glow. There is a fire pit in the backyard by the water for your enjoyment. Please check for Hood County burn bans before use. TELEVISION and WIFI: There is a 65" Smart TV in the Living Room. You are welcome to sign in to your personal streaming apps. You may also connect to the high-speed Wifi provided. KITCHEN AND COFFEE: You will have access to a Keurig K-Duo Essentials coffee maker with complimentary pods and ground coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, dishes, cookware, and modern appliances. A propane grill is located on the back deck. ENTERTAINMENT: There is a big backyard with ample space to play. We have provided a variety of outdoor games, sports balls, board games, and card games in the home that can be used during your stay. LOCATION: Located just 6 miles from Granbury's Historic Downtown Square - great restaurants, boutiques and wine tasting. Granbury City Beach Park, Revolver Brewery, Dinosaur Valley State Park, and Fossil Rim Wildlife Center are not far away also! INTERACTIONS WITH NATURE: We kindly ask our guests to enjoy their stay at our Airbnb while being mindful of the local wildlife. The surroundings of our property may attract various animals, including ducks, turtles, fish, and birds. While these creatures add to the natural beauty of the area, we encourage caution and respect during encounters. Please refrain from feeding the animals, especially from the private dock. CHILDREN: The house is child-friendly, and you are encouraged to bring the whole family (our 2-year-old and newborn spend a lot of time here!), but please be aware the house is not "childproof". We have a high chair and pack-n-play for your use in the master closet. It is your responsibility as a parent to evaluate the suitability of the property for your needs, and to ensure your children are safe and following the house rules. Please do NOT leave children unattended as the fence surrounding the property does NOT extend to the water. HOUSE RULES: No pets, parties, fireworks, littering, or smoking allowed. Quiet hours are from 10pm-7am. White towels for indoor use only, please use beach towels for lake and black towels for makeup. Don't touch the ADT security system - you may accidentally arm the house and have no way to turn it off. Check burn bans before firepit use.
