May you breathe deeply as you settle into this restorative space & find your favorite local haunts. Our home is a historic row home, on the eastern edge of Richmond City. We have a long, deep lot with one private, covered parking space for you in the back. The backyard path is gravelly with stepping stones to follow. Note we do have metal grates on the ground in spots to prevent winter soil erosion. And because we have dogs, do watch your step to avoid any dropped toys & sticks. Your private entrance is visible in our exterior photos. Upon entering the backyard, head to the left side of the house, past the trash & recycling bins, and up the one flight of exterior stairs till you reach a small landing with a small iron chair. Use your specialized entry code to open the door to your private room. Inside, you’ll find a cozy queen size bed, a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, plates, bowls, silverware, can opener, hot & cold cups, and basic spices for your convenience. A dish rack and soap are available for cleaning and reusing your dishes. There is a standard (NOT-smart) TV and DVD player. Some local stations are accessible. You will find an AC unit & overhead fan; along with games, DVD’s, & books for your entertainment. Heating is central to the main house. If more warmth is needed, a mini space heater is provided. A full bathroom offers a standup shower with small adjustable hand-rail, towels, basic cleaning supplies, and spare toiletries. The room provides simple living necessities so you can relax & enjoy the walkable neighborhood - filled with great restaurants, breweries, bakeries, coffee shops, and hiking/biking paths for outdoor enthusiasts.
