The cabin was absolutely perfect for us! The owners have thought of everything. Two identical master bedrooms making it the perfect stay for a couples vacation. It was clean and very well cared for. We will definitely stay again. Pictures can not do the place justice. A fabulous view makes it that much more amazing!

It’s a beautiful location with a view that can’t be beat. The hot tub and deck were wonderful, and the beds were very comfortable. Our kids loved the loft with the pool table. However, they missed some opportunities to make you feel at home in such a remote space. First, they said they could only provide 8 small towels since the house sleeps 8. There were five us, and with a rental that includes a hot tub, I would expect at least two towels for each person. The lack of spices in the kitchen was a bummer - I hope they leave the salt and pepper we bought for the next folks. There were no scissors which seem like a kitchen essential. One TV remote was missing batteries, and somehow we set off the alarm by opening the front door when it wasn’t armed. There were no instructions for the alarm which made a chaotic first night. Also, there are signs that say the WiFi isn’t unlimited, and that you can’t stream. Place was beautiful, but they could work on the details.

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. My friend arrived before me and called the contact number to ask about the driveway due to the steep pitch and snow. She was assured that she could make it up the driveway. She got stuck, and so did we when we arrived. Our vehicle was actually hanging off the side of the cliff for 24 hours. None of the tow trucks that were recommended returned our calls. Our husbands flagged a salt truck down to salt the driveway. Besides the huge amounts of stress that comes with being stranded, we were very comfortable in the cabin. The bedrooms were cold at night but we had extra blankets. I would definitely vacation with Elk Springs again, but would request a different cabin, only because of the lack of heat in the bedrooms.
