We went for a birthday getaway and found that the owners had purchased a cake and also had a bottle of wine waiting for our arrival. We appreciate the hospitality!
Very clean and comfortable, the beds were great. Had laundry amenities, shower supplies, great WiFi, family games were also available Uno, cards, checkers etc. The house manual was a nice touch and very handy as well. This is a very private place if you’re looking to get away, and just relax.
We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back again! Benjamin and Sommer were extremely helpful! They recommended lots of unique places that we genuinely enjoyed and were very responsive prior to and throughout our stay. The cabin was very clean and included everything you may need from glassware/silverware to shower necessities. They even left us a bottle of wine and candies to enjoy which we weren’t expecting but was definitely appreciated! Thank you both for helping make our trip a weekend to remember!
Very quiet, peaceful and private cabin in the woods. We appreciated the upgraded kitchen and bath, the soft bed linens and towels. The kitchen had everything one would need and the upstairs was especially warm and comforting. On a warmer day we would better have enjoyed the front deck, swing and trickling creek.

Located off a paved state road, just 2 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway, in a peaceful valley, with a babbling brook next to the house/deck, and a large creek across the road. 30 minutes from Boone, West Jefferson, and Wilkesboro. Surrounded by nature!
Plenty of parking for cars, easy, flat gravel driveway access
