Me and my partner stayed for his birthday and it definitely met our expectations. It was a gorgeous location, so clean and spotless and the hosts couldn’t of done enough and were very helpful. I would definitely stay again and definitely recommend! Thanks again xx

Wow, where do I begin! What an amazing stay and experience from start to finish. Such a beautiful shepherds hut fully kitted out with all you need and more, and not to forget the boathouse! The hot tub was also incredible! We can’t thank the family enough for how welcoming they all were and showing us around the property, your kindness made the experience even more unforgettable! Also have to mention how much we loved our visits from Simon and willow! We will definitely be back!

Had a great few nights away! Really didn't want to leave, despite the weather not being the best. We especially loved the boathouse, which was so cosy, especially with the wood burning stove. The bed was comfy, albeit if you're over 6ft it can be a little bit of a squeeze when lying down. Our only wish is that we would have been able to check in earlier, though we understand why! Will definitely come back again!

We stayed for our 20th wedding anniversary and wow it met all our expectations and more. The area is beautiful and charlotte and Martin were wonderful, friendly hosts. The shepherds hut and boathouse were cosy and comfortable and very clean I especially liked all the little lights. We rode our bikes down the canal path which is accessible at the end of the lane which was lovely. We were very sad to leave as it was such a magical experience but will definitely be back again 😁

We had a beautiful stay. The location is so peaceful and idyllic. The shepherds hut is as shown in the listing and is super cosy. The boathouse is an amazing place to chill out and eat, the kitchen facilities are also very good. The hot tub is the perfect way to relax in the evening. Charlotte was really friendly, provided great instructions to find the location and very responsive. Nearby Powys Castle is well worth a visit.
