Iris Cove is a beautifully decorated, modern villa situated on Jamaica's SW coast, outside the fishing village of Whitehouse. Part of a private scheme, Iris Cove is ideally placed to ensure a perfectly peaceful vacation. The villa offers breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, and the landscaped grounds offer an abundance of fruit trees, beautiful flowers and vegetation, adding to the attraction of this luxurious haven. The pool area is a great focal point with chill spots to fully relax! A spacious property with open plan kitchen, dining area and living space on one floor. A large, fully equipped kitchen for use by guests, or private chef on request, leads through to a dining table and large lounge area for kicking back with the large smartTV and sound system. The first floor has 3 bedrooms - one master bedroom with king bed and ensuite. One twin room and one double room share a bathroom suite. All are colouful and tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds. The real beauty of this property is the large balcony / patio dining area, which is just perfect for entertaining. Chill in the hammock and gaze out to the Caribbean Sea, and dine to the magnificent setting of the sun, it really is picture perfect! The lower level comprises of a 2 person studio, which can be rented seperately or as part of the whole house, turning the property from a 6 bed to an 8 bed villa. This element of the villa is the whole lower level comprising an open plan kitchenette, living space, dining area, bedroom space and bathroom. This space, again, is in keeping with the rest of the villa, full of colour, style and adorned with local artwork. The pool area has sunloungers and shades, and the downstairs veranda is a very cool chill spot in the shade, with plenty of space for everyone. The gardens are manicured and wrap around the house on all sides. The property has guava, apple, banana, soursop, sweet sop, lime, fig, june plum and coconut trees!! If you are lucky enough for these trees to be in season, the fruits are a courtesy to guests. Just ask the groundsman, Porridge, and he will have no problem picking them for you! Iris Cove has a staff of 5, which include Property Manager (myself), Chef, Pool Attendant, Housekeeper and Groundkeeper. There is an office on site where information on local services, tours etc can be found, or just to come and say hello! Guest services include: * A local chef (optional) to prepare and cook meals upon request ($35 per meal plus ingredients) * Change over included (every 3 days), all we ask is a gratuity of $20 minimum for the housekeeper to be left at the end of stay * Tailored private tours and taxi ($50 for half day / $100 full day this does not include admission to attractions) * Fishing trips with local fishermen ($50 for half day / $100 for full day including equipment, bait, food and drink based on 2 people) * Trips/shopping lists to local supermarkets for groceries ($10)
