Philip’s accommodation was exactly what I required. The room was very large, with a big sofa, large coffee table and TV, so it felt more like a bedsit. The facilities were excellent: fridge, microwave, Breville hot water dispenser, toaster. Cereals and spreads were provided (including Marmite, thanks Philip!) and I was given fresh homemade bread every morning. Decent sized bathroom with bath and shower. Two large chest of drawers provided plenty of storage. The view over the garden was pleasant and it was a quiet location. It’s easy to walk into the city centre; just cross the road and then walk through Victoria Park - about 15-20 minutes. I’d definitely stay with Philip again.

Bath is a beautiful city and Philip’s home is located just beside the Royal Victoria Park which provides a spectacular walk into the city passing the famous Royal Crescent and the Botanical Gardens. The room is everything as described, big and cheerful with more than enough teas, coffee and cereals. Philip was always responsive and willing to help. His dinners enjoyable with an interesting guests. Thoroughly recommend.

This is a great place to stay, the city is not too far from the accommodation and Philip was an great host, was very responsive and helped when with recommendations. Will definitely be booking here again.

A great place to stay if visiting Bath. Nice big room with good breakfast facilties. Not many places in Bath come with parking which is a real bonus. But also a nice easy walk into town. Philip makes everything easy. It is a shame I was so busy as he has an interesting background and it would have been nice to have more of a chat. Maybe next time...

Philip was a great host. He is very friendly and I really enjoyed the bread he made for breakfast. Thanks again for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
