Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn was a great experience for me and my friend! It was perfectly situated for the event that we were attending, making most everything we needed walkable and easily accessible. The staff proactively sent clear instructions well before our check-in date, making check-in a breeze. Also, the staff at the front desk were courteous, helpful, and efficient. I appreciated the attention they paid us. I would recommend it for anyone wanting a comfortable, clean, and affordable stay in the Times Square area.
The location was perfect for what we needed on this trip. The room itself was simple and clean. We got in late because of a delay in our flight and when we checked in, we found out that if we had been any later and missed the crew, they would have listed us as a "no-show" and canceled our reservation. Just a heads up to anyone who may be expecting to check in late, contact the hotel beforehand and let them know if you're running behind schedule. The staff was very helpful and nice. There was some sort of construction or loud noise coming from one of the floors below ours that sounded like a jackhammer that would get increasing louder throughout the day, making it pretty unbearable to be in the room any later than noon. And the additional daily fees, perhaps a standard for New York, were surprisingly high. I would prefer if the fees were included in the price up front, so just be prepared for that as well.
