If not for the drilling and hammering sounds from the below sump pump, I think the stay would have been great despite the smart tv not functioning well. The sounds every few minutes through the nights ruined the stay as we could not sleep. 2 of the 4 of our family went back to toronto to sleep at home. The place is mostly otherwise nice, clean and modern. I accept that we may be the exception as it seems others have had no problem. If the sound issue is already resolved, I am sure nobody will have any problems. Host said I was just unlucky and did not see why I asked for partial refund. She did compensate some saying it was fair but not what I felt was fair. I was exhausted after the stay from lack of sleep and the texting back and forth explaining why noises throughout the night is not normal was frustrating. An extra challenge since host is away and could not come deal with issues. I did help her solve part of the smart tv problem. Her sister came but didn't do anything.

We stayed at Stephanie’s place during my mom’s heart surgery at St Mary’s. The place was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, quiet, modern, convenient and the kitchen was stocked well. Great location, close to dt Kitchener and walking distance to a bunch of restaurants. We felt very comfortable at Stephanie’s place and would recommend it to anyone.
