Neighborhood and Safety Information:
The greatest advantage of our neighborhood is its proximity to the best of Dallas, including Uptown, Downtown, and Bishop Arts. Our area is up-and-coming, offering a blend of various housing styles and a vibrant atmosphere. It's safe to walk around during the day, but as a precaution, we recommend using Uber or Lyft for nighttime transportation. We prioritize your safety and have taken measures to ensure it:
Additional Lighting: We've installed extra lighting in and around the house to enhance safety and security during your stay.
Parking:
Ample street parking is available for your convenience. To help keep your vehicle safe, please consider the following:
Preferred Parking: We recommend parking under the light to the north of the driveway and on the street for added visibility and security.
Safety First: Like anywhere in Dallas, it's essential to bring all your belongings into the house rather than leaving visible bags or valuables in your vehicle.
Avoid Driveway Parking: Please refrain from parking in the driveway, as it is steep, and parking there could damage the underside of your vehicle. I may need access to the driveway as well.

Most guests use either Uber or Lyft to get around. If it is after 10:00, I would recommend a ride share service over public transportation.
However, there is public transportation. One option is the Dallas Streetcar which goes from Downtown (Union Station stop) to a stop that is 6 blocks from my house (Methodist Dallas Medical Center stop). This is a low cost transport and runs from 9:30 to Midnight every half hour.
There is also a bus station about 200 feet from my house (Marsalis at 5th - S - NS is the stop name). It is the "045" bus. The bus is not free and only accepts cash and coin.
From the Airport, I recommend taking the Orange Line from the Airport to West End Station. Then either take Uber or the "045" bus directly to my house.
