There are no words to explain how this beautiful family has changed our lives. We rented the house for 1 month and never in our widest dreams would we have thought it would be that amazing. The whole family greeted us with open arms at 1 am. They made sure we had everything thing we needed! Claudia and her grandfather Victor speak very good English and her grandmother Zoila speaks spanish but have no fear if you can't speak spanish download a app like I did and you will have some amazing chats! This family is so kind hearted, honest, trustworthy, humble, hard working people that will touch your souls as they did ours. Anything you need they are there to help you with maybe a taxi, or things from a market they are there. The neighborhood is amazing. It is a true Cuban community where you get to experience the true Cuban culture...even the roosters lol The house is so cozy and warm, sparkling clean and has everything you need! The stories from Victor and Zoila are truly amazing they will captivate you on their knowledge of the past and the present of Cuban life and also the world. We will be returning as they have stole our hearts in so many ways. There is no words to describe the experience you will have with this family. I will promise you , you will never find such humble, loving people like Claudia,Victor and Zoila. Thank you for everything you did for us and for taking care of all our needs. And most importantly making us apart of your family. ❤❤🇨🇺 🇨🇦❤❤

I stayed in Cuba for a month and used a total of 14 casas. Holguin, Santiago de Cuba, Camaguey, Santa Clara, Trinidad, Cienfuegos, Playa Giron, La Havana, Vinales, Cayo Levisa and Varadero. I traveled a total of 11 cities in a month. Of course there were casas where I was satisfied, and there were casas where I was just too unhappy. And Claudia’s casa was overwhelmingly good compared to any of them. It is by far the best casa I have ever experienced. That's why on the last day of my return from Varadero to Havana I canceled the pre-booked casa and went back to casa of Claudia to spend the last night of Cuba. I don't think I need to say twice that the house is too clean and beautiful. This is so obvious, and instead, I'd like to introduce you to an episode that we've been through for you looking for a good casa. As with anyone traveling, we managed our budget to meet the amount that should be used on the last day of the trip, and we worked out the schedule quite accurately. But on the last day, the taxi fare was overcharged. I booked a dinner at casa, but there was no equivalent amount left. I had to cancel my dinner reservation and eat a $2 pizza. I explained the situation to Claudia and when I asked her to cancel, this answer came back. "We are like your family in Cuba. If you are short of money, you don't have to pay for dinner. Don’t worry and eat comfortably."... We were so impressed that we figured out a way to pay for the meal, and finally we paid back the price. This one simple episode tells you all about this casa. Claudia and her grandparents, they are incredibly warm, sensitive and lovely. And most of all, Claudia's grandma's cooking is incredibly delicious!! :) If you're looking for a casa to stay in Havana, and if luckily you're looking at my review right now, don't hesitate to press the reservation button for this one.
