Yakaduru was so awesome! If you are looking to get a different experience from the usual hotel/guest house experience, this is where you should go. Yakaduru Safari Village is campfires, open huts, beautiful views, peace and quiet, great food, great company and truly unique experience. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable and safe experience. It was lovely getting to know them and having great conversations about the country.

Une expérience unique à vivre sans hésitation. Des hôtes formidables qui feront tout pour rendre votre séjour inoubliable. Des plats cuisinés avec attention et qui vous feront découvrir les vraies saveurs sri-lankaises ! Des couchés et levés de soleil incroyables. Et un safari inoubliable ! Réserver le sans hésitations, et ne vous laissez pas influencer par les locaux ou votre driver, car ce lieu est magique ! Je me suis même réconciliée avec les araignées faucheuses et les grenouilles, devant cohabiter lors des passages à la douche et au sanitaire ! Mais quelle expérience, allez y, vous ne le regrettez point ! Merci encore à Nigel, Nihal et Sashi!

Andy's place is a great place to stay and experience yala. The staff prepared us for the safari with breakfast, lunch and plenty of snacks and water. In the evenings, for a little extra, you are offered the most amazing and authentic dinner with the freshest ingredients. I love that they really look after the environment and the surroundings. highly recommend it!

Andy is a super-host according to Airbnb I would rather call him an Ultra host. On the preparations very responsive, everything very clear in proper English. Than on arrival we got picked up by a tuctuc in Tissa bringing you to the park which is a good half hour drive, once you leave the road you know you are in the jungle the last property before you enter the park I guess. Upon arrival the welcomed us with a freshly opened king coconut and we went to our little house actually build like they did in this area in the past but very clean from the inside proper bed, etc. The house is located in the jungle with a few other houses all part of the property so it is only you some guests and the staff and nature. On the terrain they have a big rock which you can walk and gives you breathtaking views over the Yala park but also the sea which is very close by. We had two dinners here one was rice and curry's nice and the second night we had a barbecue the host himself was there and he had some friends coming over and we had a really nice bushcamp barbecue and drinks with them. The first morning we went on safari with a tour organised by them we saw a lot of wildlife including some jackals and a lot of elephants and other animals. When we came back a nice srilankan breakfast was served. Anyway it was a great stay in a very nice and remote area with a very welcoming host and staff would recommend it to anyone.

Yakadura is an amazing experience. Located on the edge of Yala the rock views are spectacular. Only surpassed by the beautiful nature of the staff who were only too willing to help my our stay truly memorable. Massive thank you to Andy and everybody at Yakadura for an amazing stay.
