This place is as lovely but came with some flaws. The home itself is gorgeous but need some repairs and needs to be updated along with a faster internet connection. When we first arrived we found dead bugs everywhere. So bad that we had to sweep each room ourselves. Along with finding a dishwasher full of dirty dishes that were never ran and then put away. This was not a good start to our stay. The views are beautiful! We loved the peace and serenity of the property, that was the best part.

This cabin was beautiful and even more amazing then the pictures, the staff at the check in office gave amazing directions to the cabin. we enjoyed the fire pit at night, and the balcony for morning coffees. they provided games for the children that helped pass the times for our down time from the dells. a good 20 mins from all attractions. definitely would book with them again.

Location is away from the hustle and bustle of the dells. It is quiet and is a typical old log cabin. Needs some tender loving care though.

Our families a wonderful time at this cabin. Both the inside and outside rustic look of the cabin was beautiful. With the exposed logs and fireplace, farm decor etc...it really gives that old- fashioned country holiday feel. Getting there was not the easiest. You will have to stop at the Sand company business office to get your keys. Everything is organized and went smoothly with pick up. After that you will have a 20 min drive to the cabin. Written directions were provided and the receptionist went over them however there are NO lights at night on the roads. It is pitch black and if you miss a turn, it's a bit scary. We actually went off road at one point and trekked through a ditch. We made it but with a smaller car maybe wouldn't have. I would recommend staying in after/before dark if you don't have a good sense of direction ;) The upstairs is private and only has a generous sized bedroom with attached bath and futon. There are two large closets. So peaceful. There are two bedrooms downstairs on main level and one with carpet. One of our kids was comfortable sleeping on the floor with some blankets. Blankets provided are more like quits so bring some extra cozy blankets/throws/comforters. Both bathrooms and infact the whole cabin was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was perfect for cooking but bring your own foil, plastic storage containers, oil, sponge, dishwashing liquid. Also bring your own cleaning supplies and washer dryer pods and sheets. The downstairs basement area has industrial carpet and two twin beds. Two of our kids slept there but it was musty. The laundry room is also down there in a more basement concrete storage area. Upstairs has gorgeous all wood floors but they are creaky so keep it in mind if you have a large family/kids. Early risers will likely wake up late/light sleepers. Also, wifi is very slow so keep that in mind if it's important to be online. There could be more sturdy power cords. Mostly low level extension cords so bring a power pack strip. TV is small and doesn't have much so don't think you'll keep up with your favorite series or have big movie experiences. It wasn't a big deal for us but did induce some mild disappointment there for the kids. Windows are huge and allow for watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets! We would come again :)
