Excelente estadía. La casa y el apartamento de Sara y David son tal cual las fotos. Un hermoso parque para disfrutar de los riquísimos desayunos que preparan. Ambos son muy amables y cálidos. ¡Muy recomendable!

I stayed in Apt 1 on top floor. beautiful terrace and views of neighborhood. Helpful and friendly hosts who live in the house. Enjoyed morning chats over a very nice breakfast. It's at least a 15 minute walk to the historic district. Good hot water, nice space. Would definitely stay again.

Waren nach unserer Ankunft in Kuba eine Nacht dort,und es war einfach super. Leider hatten wir für die Tage danach schon etwas anderes in Guardalavaca gebucht,sonst wären wir sicher länger geblieben. Sara&David waren sehr nette,hilfsbereite Gastgeber,und die Unterkunft inkl.Dachterrasse könnte schöner nicht sein! Auch das Frühstück(inkl. selbst gebackenem, frischen Brot) war toll! Sie haben uns sogar noch einen Fahrer für die Weiterreise besorgt. Auch die Nachbarschaft war super,sehr ruhig und schön grün. Der Innenhof war ein wunderschöner Garten.

We had a great stay in Casa Refugio de Reyes. Not only has it the best location to stay in Holguin but also the perfect hosts. Starting with our arrival where we had been welcomed to this beautiful place and shown us our tidy and big apartment. It had AC, kitchen and bathroom with towels. Also the garden with pool very beautiful and idyllic. The next day Sara and David prepared us breakfast. The best breakfast you will find in Holguin! With fruits, bread, cheese, honey and scrambled eggs, coffee and tea. For 5€ - totally worth it. We needed to stay a day longer and it was no problem to book an extra night. Sara and David were able to answer all our questions and helped us to find another Casa in Santiago de Cuba. All in all it was a super nice stay and we would come back any time!

Hostal de los Reyes is an absolutely amazing place. We arrived here pretty tired after a 6 hours trip from Baracoa at the end of almost 3 weeks spent travelling around Cuba and we immediately felt welcomed and pampered. The hosts, David and Sara, are extremely nice and caring and their house is absolutely lovely with a fantastic garden full of beautiful plants and an inviting swimming pool. We had booked 2 rooms, the roof top suite for ourselves and another one in the garden for our kids and they were both beautiful, with huge beds (with freshly ironed white cotton bed linen), bathrooms with great showers and very big towels. Not to mention that they have set a generator powerful enough to guarantee the air-conditioning of the rooms even during the frequent interruption of electricity supply! Sara was so thoughtful to give us extra towels for the swimming pool, an umbrella to go around the city while raining and a big bottle of mineral water free of charge (a valuable gift in Cuba at the moment). The breakfast was absolutely fantastic:  everything homemade (including the bread which David bakes personally), a wide variety of things (fruit/vegetables/guacamole/cheese/eggs/ fresh juice etc...) very nicely presented and the table set with  flowers. They also helped us arrange a taxi for our next destination. I regret we spent one night only here and highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Holguín or to Cuba in general: it is worth going to Holguín just to spend a couple of days here. It is an absolute hidden gem!
