If you are adventurous and love a stunning view, this place is for you. Close to many things to do and places to eat, has a great pool for lounging around in. We have travelled to many islands and felt extremely at home here. Safe, relaxed and comfortable. Although the place does need a few repairs and we had a few hiccups along the way… the atmosphere and the feel of the place makes up for it. If you are picky this is not the place for you… if you can look past the little things and can drive an SUV up an extremely bumpy and steep road… you will be good to go. If you are looking for a place that is pristine, with no hiccups this is not for you. Little things like, the water kept shutting off. Nel told us where the valve was we could easily fix it on our own. Temperamental washing machine. An outdoor space that needs more shade options as it is inhabitable from 12 - 4… we got creative. Toilets are finicky. A great stay and would recommend. 1 hour and 20 from airport.

Place was great, there was some issues but was able to rectify. Johan was good. I was told that there will be some changes and those changes will definitely make the villa a great place to stay!

We stayed at Johan's amazing villa for a week and loved everything about it. It is the most beautiful view and tranquil location. The villa has all you need for a comfortable stay with quality appliances, great indoor and outdoor furniture, lovely pool and super secure with cctv cameras and electric shutters. Johan is very friendly and responsive host and his associate Sheldon will take care of any needs you might require during your stay. We didn't find the access road too difficult when you hire a small SUV which is the ideal vehicle for exploring the island anyway. I highly recommend Villa Lotus for anyone looking for a relaxing time in Saint Lucia.

The road in is shared with some houses under construction and is just awful from sharing with heavy trucks. Once you get on to the road only servicing the house, it is quite steep but no problem to get up. No construction noise or interference at all though. View is just as advertised and absolutely spectacular. Good internet including Netflix and Prime. Some basic spices and olive oil would be nice or bring your own. VERY peaceful and beautiful view. Two double width shutters (instead of sliding doors) open to view and gives wide open feeling. NICE!! Need clear directions into house as there are several choices from road in.
