We booked this place because it said it was "about 30 minutes from Historic Savannah," but it was more like 40 minutes which was very disappointing. We liked the house's setup, especially the views - it was stunning! Unfortunately, the house itself wasn't as clean as we hoped: the sheets were stained and when we replaced them, we noticed there were more stains on the mattress cover. We also found dried up contacts on the floor. Despite this, Jeff was very helpful and responsive.

Absolutely beautiful views. Loved the binoculars and telescope that was available. Place was clean and organized. For being completely remodeled and refurbished, it was more dated than expected…. Still worth the stay.

There aren't any words to describe how fabulous this hidden jewel is! We were only stopping over for the night since it was about half way to our final destination. I was a little apprehensive when I booked it because I was positive that there was no way this place looked the way the photos online did, but I was shocked that it was more breathtaking in person than in the photos! If you want a relaxing, quiet cottage with a million dollar view and a pool and a dock-this is your place! There is nothing you could need in your stay. The kitchen is well stocked with all of your necessities. All of the furniture was comfy and clean. The bed and the pull out sofa was super comfortable and we all slept like babies. We had teen girls with us and they got our moneys worth in selfies from the dock with the "golden hour" sun. My only regret was we didn't have enough time-will definitely be back for a long weekend or week! Thanks Jeff for the hospitality!

Lovely home, very comfortable and homey. Landscaping and river view is beautiful. Jeff left very detail instructions for all we needed. Just wished we came in warmer weather to enjoy the pool.
