We enjoyed this trip so much! This cottage is only a few feet from the water! We fell asleep each night listening to the sound of the waves on the shore. The waterfront itself is beautiful too. Alayna is a fantastic host - we had an unexpected issue occur while at the property that was not our host’s fault whatsoever. Alayna went above and beyond to make it right, checking in with us often and giving status updates, etc. We would not hesitate to book again!

As long as you keep your food in your coolers and are ok with emptying mice traps (or ask the owners to), it's a great place by the water. The host is generous and kind.

We had a really great time there with our two kids. There are many great reasons to book a vacation at that cottage. First, the cottage is right on a sandy beach which gives a great view of Heney lake and it is perfect to let the kids fish, swim or just play on the beach. Secondly, the host has kayaks and a fishing boat to use. Heney lake is not so crowded, so it is nice to explore. Thirdly, we had the chance to go on their barge for an afternoon lunch and the kids had a blast on it. Last and not least, the hosts were amazing. They treated us like family and did all they could to make sure we had a blast. My only complaint is that my time there was to short. If I would do it again, I would defenetly rent for a longer period because there is a lot to do.

The cottage is cozy and well equipped. Communication and check-in were quick and easy and we really enjoyed the sauna and kajaks. The area is very quite and beautiful, perfect for a trip in the nature.
