Paris (East unit) is our latest listing! This fully-renovated apartment is part of a house that’s over 100 years old and converted into a duplex. With high ceilings and Paris-themed decor, you can enjoy the city life vibes while enjoying the small town area. Take a short walk to downtown Newton for boutique shops, restaurants, or catch a movie or band within walking distance! A quick 10 minute drive to Hickory is convenient for more options as well. **PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION** The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils necessary for making a dinner at home. Books, board games, and other fun indoor activities make for a great evening to have some friendly competition. Smart TVs in both bedrooms and living area and Wireless Internet make it easy to work from home or enjoy a relaxing stress-free getaway. Enjoy our brand-new bathroom featuring a tub/shower combo for flexible bathing options - including complimentary shampoo/conditioner and soap. The house is located in a curve with plenty of parking situated right by the back porch for easy access when unloading your luggage. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: -- We have two bedrooms, each with a full-size queen bed and their own closet. -- There is a large sleeper-sofa in the living room that provides an additional queen-size sleeping area for two people. -- All pillows and linens are provided. PETS: -- Pets are allowed with a pet fee. Please add the pet as a selection during your booking process. ** IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT BRING PETS THAT ARE PRONE TO BARKING ** We understand that dogs like to talk too, but there may be guests in unit next door, and we want all of our guests to have the best experience possible. FEATURE SUMMARY: ** NO LAUNDRY ON-SITE ** There is a very nice laundromat close by if you need to laundry services during your stay. -- Appliances include: fridge/freezer/icemaker, sink, stove, oven, microwave, mixer, toaster & coffee maker (carafe & pods). -- Essentials like plates, cups, cookware, utensils, & paper towels will be provided for your use. -- A coffee bar includes ground coffee, creamer, sweetener, and a few coffee pods -- Cooking oil, salt/pepper are provided. -- A hair dryer and showering essentials/bath towels are available. -- Each bedroom has a designated closet with hanger storage. There is also an iron and ironing board. -- A variety of board games are available for your use, including table-top Galaga arcade -- Desk for working is located in the bedroom TECHNOLOGY: -- Smart-TVs are available in the living room and both bedrooms. This unit uses Roku TVs with guest mode. -- High-speed Wi-fi is provided, suitable for streaming and working. PARKING: -- Guests can park up to two cars in the gravel lot behind the house. This was a beautiful home, I was able to stay being comfortable, right down the road from my family. It was very peaceful, clean, and made me feel like I was at home. I would recommend to everyone and I would definitely go back. When I had an issue with the coffee maker the brought a new one right away. The response when messaging was quick. Very positive and polite host. I wish I could have stayed the rest of my trip. Thank you Seth and Joseph for the opportunity to stay in your home.
Seth and Josephs place was cozy. Bed was comfy and a nice bathroom with plenty of water pressure in the shower. There are Lots of fun board games and a classic arcade console to pass the time.
Stayed at Piece of Paris while in town for a funeral. The space was perfectly clean, the hosts were extremely responsive, and the area was fairly quiet for being off of a main road.
The house was just what we needed. The price was great and pet friendly. We would definitely stay again!

When approaching the house, look for a white house with red trim, located in a curve. You will enter the driveway between the telephone pole and the white fence. Pull around to the back of the house and park in the gravel lot. Please keep in mind that other people may be parking during your stay for the adjacent unit, so please try to keep your cars parked to one side of that gravel lot and pull up as close as possible to the wooden fence.
