The living room features a sleeper sofa, perfect for accommodating additional guests, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. The bedroom area is a true haven of comfort, featuring a luxurious king-size bed with premium linens and a variety of pillows to suit your preferences. Please note: This apartment is located on the second floor, so you’ll have to climb a flight of stairs to access the space. My two sons and I stayed at Nathan and Grace's loft apartment April 7-8 for the solar eclipse in beautiful Du Quoin. Nathan and Grace were very responsive right from the start. Their instructions for finding the apartment and getting inside were very detailed, making it easy. The apartment was gorgeous. It was spotless and decorated very beautifully, with a mixture of modern and antique. They provided everything in the apartment that we could possibly need for our stay. The bed was very comfortable, as was the sleeper sofa. They provided a binder with detailed information about the apartment, the rules, check-out procedures, and local places to eat. We had planned to grab breakfast at McDonald's and go to Carbondale to see the eclipse, but instead ate at a local diner they recommended and watched the eclipse in the beautiful park just a couple blocks from the apartment. I highly recommend renting this beautiful loft apartment from Nathan and Grace. I know we would love to stay again.

Enjoy our historic small town living with many amenities in the area. Within walking distance you can enjoy breakfast at the best in state award winning Marks bakery, lunch at the St Nicholas Hotel Brewery, dinner at Alongis Italian restaurant, and finish with desert at Biancos ice cream parlor. We also support a local park as well as Pyramid State Park with hiking trails and fishing/hunting opportunities. In less than an hours drive you can be in wine country visiting some of the finest local wineries in the area!
Main street walking is enjoyable, however outside those amenities driving would be suggested.
