The biggest problem is there are a few dozen vents open to the outside with no screens, so there are mosquitoes that you can't get rid of. The other issues were ants in the bathroom, kitchen and bathrooms are pretty old, lack of kitchen utensils and dishwasher, and Netflix didn't work (we were told it would be fixed after we checked out). The house would be okay otherwise, as there are two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, and kitchen, and the AC worked well. Another issue is a note saying if you blow out an appliance you have to pay for it, along with a price list. The fact that there's not enough electricity in the house is the owner's responsibility. I will say that our host was very responsive and empathetic and allowed us to move the second night.

Cute, simple clean and quiet pad, tucked away just off the main drag of Pantai Chenang - which is lively, but still chill. And a 5-min stroll to the beach The location was great, with so much just on the doorstep. For trips, we did the half-day mangrove kayaking, and jet ski island hopping adventures. Both were lots of fun, and good value. Special shout out to Kharl, who was an excellent and friendly host. He really made a special effort to make sure we were comfortable. And just by fortuitous timing, invited us to a special mountain spot he was going to on our final evening - unexpected, and quite a generous 'local' experience. Bonus - Kelly's Cafe is right next door. Leafy and lush space, with top food (the owner is Korean, so the menu spans many pallets), and solid espresso.
