Mooi eenvoudig appartement met alles wat je nodig hebt voor een aangenaam verblijf. Bij Mario kan je (elektrische) fietsen huren voor een mooie prijs. ook kan je voor de deur een kayak huren wat ik zeker aanraad om de mooie naai te verkennen.

Very pleasant lodging in a very pleasant and very little village. Mario and his family are very nice and welcoming. In my opinion, Polace is the best place to stay in Mljet National Park. And Mljet NP is probably the best place in Croatia islands. Very resting and calm. Yet some animation, even in May, from boats coming and leaving the bay and crews getting dinner in one of the few good restaurants. More authentic and much better than Pomena flooded with tourists passing and going and no better restaurants. It is worth staying several days and enjoying hiking, biking, swimming, and resting. No car needed if you stay in the National Park. Bicycles can be rented everywhere.

Mario was a wonderful host. He went out of his way to drive me to and from the ferry in Pomena. The location is great and is a perfect base for exploring the national park. He offered me a deal on renting my e-bike which was an added bonus. I highly recommend staying here!

Mario was a really nice host. He helped us with a lot of stuff (coming from the ferry to Polace, renting a bicycle, etc.) The apartment is exactly as presented on the pictures, clean and with all the facilities to cook if you need it. Alternatively, there are a few good restaurants nearby. Also, the view on the sea is amazing ans the National Park easily accessible from there. I would definitely recomand you to stay at Mario's place !
