Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Great for mountain bikers and nature lovers. Walk to Galbraith Mountain from your front door or drive 5 minutes to swim, paddle, or walk at Lake Padden. Beautiful historical Fairhaven is also a close drive where you can visit coffee shops, restaurants, go shopping, and take a scenic walk on the pier to the park. Relax with a puzzle or enjoy a movie on the large flatscreen at the end of the day. We hope you enjoy our cozy little spot in the woods! The space is a studio loft apartment above our workshop. There is a kitchen, office space with high-speed wifi, king bed, futon, giant beanbag chair, big screen TV with second couch, DVD/Blue-ray player with movie options, dining table for 4, a storage space with a fold-out table, board games, puzzles, books, shower, bath, and laundry room. You are welcome to enter the left side of the shop. There is an entrance door at the base of the stairs. Inside you can used the pool table, couch, bike rack, tools, and candy machines.

Chris's apartment is the perfect location for a mountain bike get away in Bellingham. Galbraith trails are literally right outside your door. Downtown restaurants are only 10 minutes away. The property is spotless and well organized. Plenty of room in the garage to store bikes, play pool, or just hang out. We've been looking for the perfect location in Bellingham and this is it.

I had such a nice stay at Chris's place. The loft was the perfect location for a mountain bike getaway. He showed me a route right from his backyard up to the Galbraith trail network and let me store my bike in the downstairs shop. It all felt very safe, quiet, and private. The loft is very well stocked - lots of kitchen items, a place to work, good wifi (no cell service for me at least), cozy couch/TV area, super clean. Great to have a washer/dryer as well. He was easy to get in touch with and would definitely stay again.
Chris’ place was fantastic. Location was next to Galbraith and near town. We stay at quite a few vacation rentals and this was likely one of the best we have stayed at! It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were all the little things that make a trip more enjoyable/easy e.g. a few ziplock bags. The place was quiet and we felt right at home. We hope to stay again on our next trip!
