自我介绍

Hi. I'm passionate about nature and being outdoors, pretty much every activity as long as it is outside. Overnight whitewater kayaking/rafting trips, back country overnight hut trips, and playing hockey are my favorite! Tele-mark skiing & rock climbing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, and hiking for fall mushrooms on my little 125cc Cafe racer are close behind. I also LOVE to cruise around in my camper to new places for surfing (FYI; I'm horrible, I swim more than "surf" so don't ask for lessons). As for inside, I love anything artistic/creative, singing, dancing, working on greasy things, and my passion is to fly fixed wing airplanes which I do in Alaska the summers. I absolutely love to travel and at the top of the list is cooking and entertaining! Before I die I want to attend Cordon Bleu for their Grand Diplome and fly a plane super low over the Serengeti chasing zebras and watching the dust fly behind them. I started hosting farm table dinners in 2001 and have hosted in multiple countries and on 3 different continents. I'm also an artist/designer and currently enrolled for my doctorate in bioenergetic medicine. I'd eventually like to see myself using my flying in combination with my language skills, travel skills, and medical education to help people in remote areas. I'd also like to create an organization preserving plant medicine and the natural habitats of said plant medicines. Eventually I will have an "Agriturismo-(italian)" with an area dedicated for my medical practice which will work in trade for whatever the person has to offer... an artist studio/workshop, small batch Vineyard, herb and spice garden, vegetable garden, chickens, orchard, goats, areas sectioned off for weary travelers and my favorite part.. a huge, long table with bright colored bulbs hanging overhead where I will occasionally host community dinners. This is my dream!!!! I have actually never taken a "vacation" but I've lived in a lot of places. I travel to immerse myself and typically will stay in an area for months and in some cases years. I ticked which languages I speak below but to be precise, I speak English, Spanish, and French fluently (which means write, read, and speak) and I am only conversational in Italian, I understand Portuguese, and get by in Swiss German but I've downloaded Rosetta Stone so someday I can say fluent in 6! My life motto?? Hmmm I guess I would have to say it is "Live it, Don't watch or talk about it." I carry "The Prophet" by Khalil Gibran and the Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz wherever I go.
