A beautiful retreat and a very lovingly looked after property, on the edge of a river. The lush garden has several fruit trees and flowers, a haven for nature lovers. Rooms were comfortable and guests are made to feel at ease in this home away from home. Tranquil area with some beautiful walking paths. Thank you for a great stay, will return!

This was an absolutely beautiful setting by the river. Andrea was the best host I have encountered on my travels so far. This was well worth the cost. I would definitely recommend and I will be back as soon as I have more time to explore.

Andrea is lovely, warmhearted and really very kind, so typical of the Sri Lankan people. The place is beautiful , over looking quite a big river, close by are swimming areas where locals gather to enjoy the inviting waters. Wildlife is abundant, I saw large water lizards, buffalo wallowing, peacocks and numerous other birds that visit the rivers edge. There's balconies where you can sit right on the rivers edge in the evenings or for coffee in the mornings, its really beautiful. There's miles of walking paths and small very quiet roads that meander through rice paddy fields, hills where you can hear the peacocks calling and other birds singing in the forest, there's lots of exploring if you like natural wonders!! The accommodation is beautiful, they're 3 chalets(?) that are pretty much self contained units all quite separate from each other. Its very private, very very pretty place with beautiful gardens. I loved it here, thank you Andrea for making it such beautiful, stunning place.
