At the end of the day the home we ended up in was lovely—other than missing a few basic amenities like silverware—but the fact that we were relocated to a different property a town over the morning of check-in really soured the experience (and it also means I'm not sure I can leave an honest review for this property specifically). Lina was admittedly as kind as one could be in this sort of situation, but her communication was clearly automated and we continually received messages with missing information, incorrect information, or that were clearly meant to be sent to a different guest. I'm sure my experience was probably unique to booking a property in the path of totality during the eclipse, so I'm fairly certain these issues won't persist in the future. But to be paying an extreme premium for an airbnb, it really was a disappointing experience.
