This gorgeous home on the water was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed, the character was so neat, the view was absolutely breathtaking, and it was a very peaceful area to relax. All amenities were close by including a beautiful beach. The owners Melissa and Jeff were extremely kind and so accommodating. We were travelling with babies, and had arrived early, Melissa and Jeff allowed us to have an early check in and Jeff was there cutting the grass and helped us bring all our suitcases in, we had requested a high chair and they had provided it for us! They were available anytime you needed, wonderful hosts! Melissa and Jeff provided everything you needed for you’re stay and made you feel like you were at home. The home is also located very close to Peggy’s Cove, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg, which were all very beautiful to visit! We enjoyed our stay so much and were so sad when it was over, we are looking forward to returning in the near future. Thank you so much😊

From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we had chosen the perfect place. The cottage was pristine, the view spectacular and Melissa was the ideal host. We look forward to returning.

Melissa's cottage "by the sea" was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations in every way. The cottage itself was tastefully decorated and provided us with everything we needed for our stay. The beds were super comfy and the ocean views were incredible! We really hated to leave but will always cherish our memories of this very special place.
