Great for a weekend, even better for an extended stay! This unit is complete with a full size kitchen with all cookware needed to cook your meals. The living room has a sofa sleeper for the extra bed. The private bathroom has access from the bedroom and living room. The king sized log bed is a sight to behold and equally comfortable. The full sized desk will let you spread out your remote working tasks comfortably. The full size stacked washer and dryer tops it off for extended stays. The manicured lawn area is for guests to enjoy as weather permits. The rooms are cozy and great for up to two people. Eagle Creek Getaway is a serene peaceful setting away from the congestion but still close enough to the attractions.

This area is close to the winter park and in the same road to get to ski Apache. Its quiet with wildlife in the area, we saw deer and turkey. It was a clean, cozy and home feeling. Everything we needed was there. We enjoyed our time here and will definitely stay again. Thank you for everything, my daugther loved the snacks and water!
Don & Paula have a beautiful place in Ruidoso/Alto New Mexico. We enjoyed our stay with them very much can’t wait to go back to see them. We were from Alaska and they had also lived in Alaska before so we had a lot to talk about. The day before we flew in they upgraded us to a 1 bedroom which we very much appreciated. Thank you again for everything.
It is definitely a place that we will return to stay if we need a place in Ruidoso, super cozy, feels like home, and such a beautiful view in the area, the host were amazing people, and super friendly, which made us stay extra special!!!
We had a wonderful time staying at Eagle Creek Getaway once again! Don and Pauline’s hospitality never ceases to amaze me. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. This is our third time staying at this property, but our first time staying in The Nest. It was so cozy and comfortable. We look forward to future visits! Don and Pauline’s nest is truly the best!

The surrounding natural beauty of the tall pines, aspen trees, and crisp fresh air help us appreciate the occasional treat of visiting the greater Ruidoso area.Hiking opportunities are abundant in the established hiking trails throughout the local national forest access points.
Fishing is available where a state fishing license is required as well as private lakes with a purchased day pass. Restaurants nearby serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Driving on Hwy 532 to or from the ski area during or after snow may require tire chains. Call 511 for current road conditions and any tire chain requirements.
