The area is extremely safe as one of finest, leafiest suburb Dublin’s southside has to offer, with several captains of industry living nearby. We are just a few minutes away from recently expanded mixed residential/commercial districts and benefit from relative quiet as we are a residential estate off of two quieter streets than the main road. We ask guests to please respect others living in the property and neighbors living in nearby homes as this is a sedate community though it is in close proximity to the town just a few blocks away. Feel free to walk left out of our property along the footpath and connect to the Dundrum/Balally-to-Marley Park green walking / cycling route. This quiet walk runs from the Luas tram and Dundrum’s Town Center shopping center (recently the largest in Europe and still the largest in Ireland) to the large scenic park of Marley Park, once belonging to Dublin’s wealthiest banker and today hosting summer concerts with international superstars. As you near the end of our estate, take a right for the Balally Luas tram into town or Dundrum Town Center’s exquisite shopping mall OR take a left for the leisurely walk towards the large, leafy Marley Park. Although Marley Park is a flat walk and suitable for all ages, it is the starting point from which the more adventurous hikers can begin a multi-day trek over the ancient, rugged Wicklow mountains. Downtown Dundrum near the shopping center is a pleasant surprise with every type of venue and amenity you could desire outside of the historic sites close by in Dublin city center itself. Treat yourself to coffee, healthy snacks or a decadent meal after shopping designer stores or capturing a thrifty deal in one of the side shops. Between the nearby Balally Park, some of the amenities along the walk to Marley Park, and Marley Park itself, any active teenager or child will be fully satisfied with the variety of outdoor activities. Playgrounds in both parks are perfect for young children. Everything is within a 10-to-25 minute walk along safe, quiet, walkable asphalt blacktop / tarmac footpaths specially created for walkers and cyclists. There are plenty of relaxing walks in the charming, affluent southside Dublin region!

Guests may park one car. Please park inside the driveway immediately on the left close to the palm tree. Please do not block the entrance to the driveway. Please allow for up to two other cars to park on the side of your car closest to the house. Note that the back of the property is inaccessible to guests. You can enter the front door using the electronic keypad. Keep in mind that we have more than plenty of parking space for normal sized-cars, minivans, and SUVs. If, however, you have a larger vehicle than can fit, never fret! Although you cannot park in our estate outside of our front parking lot, there are plenty of free and paid parking spots in the nearby area. For instance, certain parts of our neighboring estates such as Ludford or Wyckham have no parking restrictions (do not park on parts where there are double yellow lines) and are usually a 2 to 5 minute walk from the property. Ballally Luas stop – a 7 minute walk from the house and only 17 minutes tram into Dublin city center – has 24/7 parking for only E5 a day.
