We were looking for a peaceful and beautiful get away for my Moms 80th birthday. Everything clean and the stay was wonderful. A special touch was delicious chocolate chip cookies that were waiting for us when we arrived. If we are ever in the area again I won’t hesitate to book another stay.
Another wonderful stay at the Bear Den! We love staying here while visiting family in Milton/Lewisburg. This time we even found time for an early morning kayak adventure on the creek across from the house!
Brenda’s place was an excellent choice for our stay. It had everything we needed. Super easy check in and Brenda provided a lot of information for the surrounding area. We will definitely be staying here again.
The Bear Den is a perfect vacation spot. There's many attractions close by including Knoebels Amusement Park and Bald Eagle State Forrest. The cabin has everything you could need (including some toys for the kids). We had a great time here.
A great stay! Lots of local activities, relaxing!

自我介绍
I am a wife and mother of three boys who love to fish and kayak in the creek. I am also a school counselor in one of the local schools. I am originally from Levittown, outside of Philadelphia but have lived in central PA for 25 years. I am inspired by HGTV to take care of homes that need attention. I have taken two local homes that were in poor shape and have converted them into vacation homes. My first one, completed in 2015, is a lovely cottage in Mifflinburg along Penns Creek and it is called Bear Den. The second home, completed in 2019, is in New Berlin along Penns Creek. It is a beautifully restored colonial called Blue Heron after the majestic birds that frequent the creek. I select homes that have character and a nice setting. I wish for all my guests to have a relaxing, comfortable stay.
