The perfect Italian getaway! Our family of four loved the cottage and it’s beautiful location. Anna Lisa was so welcoming and accommodating, especially since we arrived later than we expected. She met us in the main square and guided our car through the very narrow streets up to the cottage, which sits up above the walled city of Gubbio. The cottage itself is beautiful, comfortable, and feels like a home away from home. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast basics, which we really appreciated. The walk to town is made easier by 2 public elevators that are a short walk away. The outside space at the cottage is beautiful with lots of grass, views of olive groves (with chickens scratching around), and the most amazing view of the walled city below. Tips: Ask for instructions on how to use the coffee machine and the washing machine, if you have not used Italian versions previously. Overall, a wonderful experience, and my entire family is already asking to visit again.

What a great place! Gubbio is such a nice town and this house was fantastic. The yard, the view, the jacuzzi - so brilliant! We sat outside a lot because it was so lovely. Nice place (we were 4 people) with all we needed. Wifi was fine. Yes, it is up a steep hill. Only about 500 m walk to the centre of town and the walk was fine for us, but for less able people it is very steep. I will definitely stay here again when next in Gubbio.

I don't know where to start... We had an amazing experience at this house. The views were magical, the property was perfect ,and the host was amazing. Georgio went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable when we checked in. He even drove me around the city to make sure we had a place picked out to get dinner and to make sure we knew how to get around. The home had a fully stocked kitchen, so we were able to cook at the house when we wanted to. This was such a great AirBnB. I can not say enough to do it justice!

Anna Lisa's cottage is very special, and we're so happy we chose this cottage. It's location is stunning. Nestled in amongst the medieval walls of Gubbio high up overlooking the old town. We had a car so Anna Lisa met us at the Piazza down in the town and we simply followed her up and up through the little streets. The cottage is larger than expected and whilst the kitchen is compact it was more than adequate for us and the outside terrace is breath taking. The views from most of the rooms are amazing and the hot tub is a big bonus after the walk back up from the town below! Lots of walkers will pass by the front door on their way further up the hillside to the Church at the very top, but you can also use the 'bird cage' cable car a 5 minute walk from the cottage. Gubbio has lots of cafes, restaurants, shops and churches and is about 45 minutes drive from Assisi and Perugia. Just outside the walled town are the supermarkets, we preferred EMI. Highly recommend a stay here.

Gorgeous villa with *very* large outdoor space (terrace, olive trees, vines) and truly stunning views over Gubbio. Anna Lisa was friendly, efficient and responsive. We had a wonderful time.
