Absolutely lovely house, it looked just like the photos! Very well stocked with extra towels, comfy blankets, plenty of cooking tools and spices in the kitchen. Lots of seating and places to relax and a beautiful deck with views of the river. There was also an internet outage during our stay and Elmina was very quick to offer and deliver a mobile router which we really appreciated. The only criticism is that we felt the amount of religious signs and texts throughout the house could be reduced. While we understand it might be common for the area, it can make guests who might not subscribe to the same religion feel a little uncomfortable/unwelcome.

Wow - what an AMAZING home away from home. Our stay at the River Nook far exceeded our expectations. The house was so cozy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed and more. The property was magical. Our two small kids loved walking down to the river and swinging from the tree swings. The beds were so comfortable - especially the swinging bed which I now am convinced I can’t live without. Plenty of cozy couch space for relaxing with our family and a back deck for the most peaceful morning coffee you’ll ever have. Highly recommended and already planning a return in the fall ! This is the second time I have stayed at Elmina's home and it is fantastic! the view is amazing from the house and very relaxing. You are right outside of lancaster city so there is plenty to do and lots to see. Elmina is quick in responding and very easy to work with. She is friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend her home to stay in!
