Ideal property to explore the local areas, and a very peaceful street. Some soft furnishings would be welcome in the lounge area, to be more comfortable. Air con remote shows a heat setting that did not function and was actually needed as a chilly property at times. More information needed with regard to waste and recycling, the local authority website states kerbside collection, but which kerbside for this property?

The apartment was very clean and very well put together. Communication with the host was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and we will be hopefully visiting again.
Die Wohnung ist wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Wir haben uns in der kleinen, stylischer Wohnung sehr wohlgefühlt. Alles war sehr durchdacht und ästhetisch eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit Hanna hat gut funktioniert. Das Bett auf der Empore mit dem kleinen, davor liegenden Balkon hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Die Matratze und die Bettwäsche waren super bequem. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber.Die Lage mitten im schönen Zentrum von Birgu ist erstklassig. Es gibt einige Restaurants und Essensmöglichkeiten, sowie einen Minisupermarkt gleich in der Nähe. Besonders geliebt haben wir es jeden Morgen mit den kleinen, bunten Bötchen nach Valletta überzusetzen und abends wieder zurück zufahren. Das war Abenteuer pur und der Morgen konnte für uns nicht schöner beginnen. Für den Taxitransfer zum Flughafen hat uns Hanna eine Telefonnummer genannt, der Service hat prima geklappt. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Maltaurlaub sehr genossen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Could not recommend higher. Myself and my girlfriend spent a week here. Hanna and Chris were extremely responsive to any requests we had and the apartment was perfect! The location is perfect and you are surrounded by beautiful, peaceful and historic streets. we will definitely be back!

VALLETTA VINTAGE is a collection of vintage and contemporary finds – properties & contents – curated by their owner-architect and his partner to offer an alternative to mainstream holiday accommodation. Their love with art & design, coupled with their belief that good architecture can bring inner peace and solace, have led to this aspiration become a reality. Established in 2012 by architect Chris Briffa, the collection grew from one small apartment to ten, each housed in refurbished buildings spread around the city of Valletta and its harbour. The architect renovated the spaces with his renowned, elegant approach; subtly integrating the traditional with the contemporary. Together with his wife Hanna, Chris furnished their self-catering properties with a mix of designer, bespoke & vintage pieces: sourced from shops, workshops and online markets. Very much like an extension of their own home, each unit is equipped with all modern commodities & comforts, clever details and a growing collection of local, contemporary artwork. While each is different from the other, they are all conceived around a common concept: a commitment to provide a memorable and truly local experience.
