Such a cute home. Walking distance to the water. Black sand and ability to fish from dock/pier. Most beautiful church I saw in the 2 weeks I spent in Faroe Islands. Grocery store in village short walk. Loved the low ceilings and small home vibe. Rani had a small variety of local beers in fridge - which was awesome. I would definitely stay here again.

Det lille sorte hus ligger dejlig i en rolig lille by, med en virkelig god cafe, en strikkebutik og et lille supermarked. Godt sted til vandreture i området. Huset er lidt gammelt men har charme og fungerede rigtigt godt for os.

Rani is a great host. the house is beautiful and has an amazing view. the pictures in his advert don't do justice to how cozy and beautiful the place is. the kitchen was well equipped, 3 bedrooms, one study and the living room with a balcony. It comes with a basement that has only a washer. The grocery store is 1 min walk from the house, free parking and 5 mins from bus stop. I really recommend this place, especially if you want to explore the island of Vagar.

We felt very well at the house, and it was a perfect place for our days in Sandavágur. The host Rani was very kind and helpful, and the house is lovely. Rani is always proactive and trying to help, and we really appreciate all his support all the time. It was a great base to explore the beautiful surroundings of Vagar, and everything was just great. A fantastic place, a real home from home. Everything you needed was available. Well stocked shop within walking distance, parking adjacent to house, close to main road to the rest of the islands. Would definitely stay again.
