Another phenomenal stay at Bruce & Carla's - our VERY favorite place to stay, period.
Wonderful property right in the middle of Bourbon Country !! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to hit the bourbon trail but stay out of the big city. Host were amazing. Left a personal item behind and they had it in the mail the same day heading back to us.
This place was wonderful. Bruce and Carla are excellent hosts. They made our birthdays feel special.
I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. It was our 3rd stay and certainly won’t be our last. It’s beautiful, immaculately kept and all the little extra treats are such a nice touch. This is hands down one of the best AirBnBs I’ve ever booked
Clara and Bruce were amazing to us, from the first and last hug of welcome and goodbye, to the fabulous kitchen supplies and they even delivered a little extra for breakfast on our last morning. Vegemite for the Aussie Kiwi girl. I cannot say enough about how amazing it was, from the 2 levels of pillows to a fully appointed kitchen, beautiful bathroom. We ventured around to the distilleries and happily came home tired to relax at the Cottage. I will stay here again.

Bruce and I so enjoy being Airbnb hosts. We backpacked around the world- BC Before Children- staying in some amazing places- wish we had Airbnb back then! Now we're empty nesters and rediscovering why we like each other so much. It's a joy to meet and host people from all over the globe who come for the Bourbon Trail, the Horse Industry, Stewart Home School or The State Capitol to name a few great reasons to visit the area. Bruce is a "Beam" (as in Jim Beam) and comes from a long line of master distillers-- there might be bourbon in his blood, who knows. Carla does custom artwork in the local area and grew up speaking Italian. We look forward to meeting you and helping your stay be the very best! LOVE!
