We had an enjoyable time at the cottage and taking in the scenic views of Lake Superior right from the cabin! It is close to the state park and restaurants as well, which was great to explore and visit while on the island. I would recommend the cottage for those looking for an island adventure!

Lovely place with lake access! Modern yet cozy! My parents, partner and 10yo daughter had a peaceful 4 night stay! We made fires in the fireplace every night and morning! Plenty of games. Kitchen is well-appointed. TV does not have channels so bring dvds or add in your Netflix account if you want a movie night. Or don’t bother and star gaze! Mike was a great communicator and check-in was a breeze! There are a lot of stairs to consider if bringing small children or others with mobility issues.

Beautiful cabin on an idyllic spot overlooking the lake. We loved how open yet somehow still cozy everything felt. Close to town, parks and trails, though we spent quite a bit of time just sitting on the deck and steps at the end of the board walk leading down to the water. Couldn’t ask for much more.
