A few days after confirming the booking and getting charged, Scott tried to cancel on my group. We were planning to spend a night here for our 20 hour layover and this news was given to us with less than a week of notice. Singapore is a very expensive city so this stressed us out. Scott problem solved and offered us a discount but with 2 people in our party being placed in the living room instead of a bedroom as promised. While we were initially good with this arrangement and thankful to have the space, we did not realize how much of a high traffic area the living room would be. The bedrooms are units in a bigger home that hosts other guests. The two people in our party who were staying in the living room were constantly awoken by other guests. Those other guests didn’t seem to have been warned that we would be staying in the living room. As women, our party felt unsafe and being constantly woken up defeated the purpose of booking our airbnb for a layover.

Scott’s home was nice and neat. Not too far of a cab drive to the Downtown Singapore. The home was just as advertised and he was very responsive when we had questions.
