Our stay at the River Flow House Garden Cottage was such a delight. We didn’t expect much prior to arrival as we just needed a place to rest our heads for an evening, but we were blown away by the beauty of this hidden gem. The cottage was so cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen was the perfect size for us to make our hotpot dinner. The view of the large gardens, pool and the river Maeklong was something out of a fairytale book. We will definitely be coming back to this little paradise again for a longer stay next time!

Wow...just wow. I can't say enough great things about this place. For anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful nature retreat just outside of Bangkok, THIS is the place you need to stay. First off, the property itself is like something out of a Studio Ghibli movie. Picturesque gardens, a beautiful pool with a view of the river, and a gorgeous property literally right on the river. However, that is just on part of this incredible experience. I was also pleasantly surprised about how fun Ratchaburi turned out to be! I came just to stay at this place, but the town itself has cool markets, amazing local food (which the hosts can help you find), and even a "bat cave"! But the hosts themselves are what made this experience truly one of a kind. They are a beautiful and incredibly welcoming family. I truly felt like they cared about me and my experience, and just getting to know them was the highlight of my experience. If you are even considering this place, book it now and thank me later!

My husband and I loved our stay at River Flow House. The garden room was clean, comfortable and so spacious (2 bedrooms and a big living/dining area) - the best part was stepping out to the smell of flowers. The pool is so relaxing and I enjoyed reading and napping in the hammock with views of tropical palm trees and the riverside. The family is so welcoming and kind, bringing Thai snacks, organic pomelo from the garden and eggs etc for breakfast. Bam Mae Nam restaurant just down the river has great food, boho chic decor and beautiful views. We spent a fun evening at Nassata Light Festival (20 min away) snapping photos of amazing light installations. The bat cave nearby is a natural wonder where you can see a stream of bats flying out for an hour+ every evening at sunset. Truly a magical place to experience real Thai life in the countryside, yet only 1-2 hours taxi from Bangkok.
