Lilly’s home was perfect for my colleague and I trip up to Davis for a conference. Would definitely stay again!
Lilly was a great host and the Yolo Bungalow was definitely one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed in. Would definitely recommend this place to others due to the convenient location, transparent host communication, and overall charming place to stay in.
Lilly's place was absolutely charming! It matched the pictures exactly and made for a very cozy stay! In addition to the decor, we appreciated the little intuitive, practical touches: a coat rack directly by the door and hooks in the bedrooms for towels. There were also jars of earplugs on each nightstand for light sleepers. The home was definitely the most well-stocked airbnb I've ever stayed at. There was an assortment of teas, whole bean coffee (and grinder!), snacks, and sparkling water in the kitchen - in addition to brand new cookware & bakeware. The laundry room and bathroom are stocked with essentials (e.g. detergent pods, cotton swabs, and floss picks) in little glass jars. We felt very taken care of during our stay! The location itself is quite nice. It's only a few blocks from the train station and less than a ten minute walk to most of the restaurants downtown.
The Bungalow: cozy! roomy! adorable! Cute aesthetic stacked with silky soft bedding. Extra special touches like herbal tea, chilled soft drinks and 5 star selection of local brand toiletries including shampoos, cleansers and plush absorbent wash clothes meant we could pack light, thank you! Three separate private bedrooms in this stylish vintage home was a real treat and the doggie treats were a big hit for making friends with Davis SPCA volunteers and their fur babies at the near by Thrift Store! We will bring our pup next time to join the fun. We sat out on the covered porch swing until the Davis stars started to twinkle & then it was time to pop inside, unwind on the cozy couches and stream a new release! (Lilly left popcorn out for movie night!) Bring your tennies, everything’s easily walkable from the best bungalow in Yolo County!

The University of California, Davis campus is also within easy reach, making our place an ideal choice for visiting academics, parents, or students.
~Walking distance to downtown businesses and attractions, including UC Davis campus, which is less than a mile away.
~Unitrans Bus & Amtrak stations are easily accessible and only a couple of blocks away.
~Off-Street Parking for 2 cars (end-to-end) is available in the driveway.
~Street parking in most of Downtown Davis, including in front of the house, is subject to restrictions - visitors are responsible for complying with parking regulations and hosts are not responsible for parking violations.
~Potential for Noise: The house is located on the edge of the downtown business district. There are businesses across the street that generate traffic & noise throughout the day. The train station & tracks are about two blocks away and can be easily heard from the property. The house has double paned windows and each bedroom is supplied with ear plugs and white noise machines. If you are particularly sensitive to noise, this property may not be a good fit for you.
