There is an idyllic lake in the middle of the forest nearby, as well as a number of lakes in the surrounding area. Very well-developed cycle paths and various hiking trails (maps are available in the studio) lead through a sparsely populated, beautiful landscape. There is, for example, a very beautiful cycle path on a former railway embankment between Templin and Fürstenwerder, which can be easily can be completed in stages.
Extensive canoe tours can be undertaken in the lake-rich surroundings. There are hire stations at many of the lakes.
