Such a beautiful little cottage in a great location. The cottage is immaculate with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden is completely enclosed and private, which was perfect for our small dog. Anita was lovely and met us on arrival. She explained how to use the hot tub, showed us around the cottage and also pointed us in the right direction for some lovely forest walks and local places to visit that were also dog friendly. I cannot recommend this cottage enough. Thank you for a lovely stay!

we have just returned home after the most amazing little break away. the cottage was beautiful and well looked after. Anita met us when we arrived and went over the instructions of the hot tub and amenities inside. there was a paddock outside our garden that was enclosed that our dog could run around in if empty. she updated us on other guests plans when they used the paddock also. garden was secure and that helped us relax as our dog could relax in the garden safely whilst we enjoyed the hot tub. the path to the forest walks was right at the end of the paddock and was easily accessible. lydney town was 7 minutes drive away and we enjoyed a nice Chinese from the great wall and a fish and chips from Fridays. we couldn't fault a single thing and we are very much looking forward to booking another trip here! Great location, lovely hosts and perfect accommodation.

The cottage was immaculate, cosy and beautifully presented. The living area was very comfortable with good wifi, plenty of fire logs and comfortable seating. The kitchen had everything we needed and was pristine. The bedroom is spacious with space to unpack and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has a great shower and is beautifully arranged. We had our dog with us and we really appreciated the dog friendly basket and the fully enclosed garden space. The hottub was bliss to relax in.

We stayed to celebrate our wedding anniversary... What a gem! Anita was so helpful and welcoming and communicated superbly with us. The cottage is really well equipped and finished really well to a high standard - no corners have been cut! The location is perfect with Forrest right out the back door for some peaceful walks! The hot tub is great and the cottage felt private and secluded. We’re already plotting our return with friends and family to the neighbouring cottages! Simply brilliant!

Such a beautiful little cottage. We felt totally at peace here! Lovely garden to sit out and listen to the birds, or say hi to the sheep next door. As well as stunning views and a hot tub which was a bonus! We didn’t want to leave but we’ll definitely be back! Thank you Anita
