Great stay at the cabin. The cabin was as pictured and the deck was absolutely perfect for sunset around the firepit. Quick note that while there is wifi, it might not be the best for remote working as calls constantly dropped. Though, given it is a cabin in the woods, it is understandable that the connection might not be the greatest. Overall had a wonderful few days at the cabin and would stay again.
I have stayed in a few different rentals from this company and have enjoyed every single one. This one did not disappoint either and is probably my new favorite! The house was clean, check in was easy and the amenities of the house are incredible. Not only is there a beautiful view but the decks are wonderful and allow so much space for hanging out outside! I brought my dog with me and we loved being able to walk right out onto the deck! There are also porches in the front and walk ways on the side, so getting around the property with pets is a breeze! The gas fireplace was great and all of the appliances were wonderful. This house is truly beautiful and would be a perfect place to host family or just enjoy the mountains! Kitchen was complete so everything you need for cooking is available! Cell service was pretty much non existent but it’s the mountains and that should be expected so absolutely no issue for me! WiFi was strong & consistent the time! Absolutely will stay again!
We have been an Airbnb guest for 6 years and have never left a negative review. We booked our stay from 3/15-3/23 at Joni’s place. We arrived at 2:30 am. Check-in was smooth. Once we got in, we were ready for bed of course. All 5 beds were so stiff, that our sons ended up sleeping on the couch. My wife and I woke up at 8 am both with back pain. We also discovered that there are two broken glass windows by the TV. We contacted the host immediately. We asked if the mattresses could be replaced and, if not, if we can get a refund. Joni advised us that he would refund the remaining stay. We paid $1325.92 for the stay but only got refunded for $838.38. We were charged almost $500 for one night of stay!!! This is unreasonable. We have contacted Airbnb on numerous occasions who stated they will reach out to the host regarding a refund since 9 am, it is now 3 pm, and we have not gotten a response back.

Suches Vacation Rentals has a humble beginning. Joni Lee is the owner but the business started with the collective efforts of her and her two children in 2015. After a major life change Joni began renting a few bedrooms out of their log cabin home. There was a demand in Suches for vacation rental management, and with hard work the business grew. Suches Vacation Rentals was born and in the early years the family of three marketed, cleaned and maintained all of the cabins in their care. The children are now in college and the business has become a success that employs seven Suches residents and helps guests to “Experience the Mountains” as they vacation in one of the 50 cabins managed by Suches Vacation Rentals. The rental business is now housed in the offices beside Suches Life – a small store featuring life in Suches with local arts, jams, pickles, antiques and t-shirts. Visitors to the store can also get advice on local hikes and sites. While we are proud of our growth our goal for our guests, to Experience the Mountains, remains unchanged. We don't just send you a code for entry and clean when you leave. We provide guided check ins, recommend hikes, sights and restaurants, and we are just a call/text away from 9am-9pm every day.
