Make your great Welsh escape to this holiday home at Cosheston, 2.5 miles from Pembroke, in West Wales. Up to four guests, and one contented canine, are welcome to stay at the semi-detached, two-bedroom property, which has a bright, modern appeal. Stroll over to the estuary to see the tidal river come in; plan days out to nearby beaches and find plenty of historic sites, beauty spots and family attractions in the area. Step inside this inviting property and stroll down the hall into the inviting, airy, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Make a cup of tea in here to enjoy with a tasty Welsh cake, light the wood burner and settle down in front of the TV. On warm days, throw open the French windows so everyone can wander outside into the sunshine. Prepare homecooked meals in this bright space too and gather around the table to enjoy them together. Make your way up to the first floor every night to lay your head in either the king-size room, with en-suite shower room, or the twin bedroom. There is also a family shower room up here. Serve breakfast out on the terrace on warm mornings and soak up the serenity out on the lawn. There is parking for two cars with this holiday home. Head into Pembroke to wander round its interesting, independent shops or pick up produce at the farmers’ market. Visit the gorgeous medieval castle while you are here. Drive just 5 miles to the picturesque beach at Freshwater East, with its wide, open sands, or 10.5 miles to beautiful Freshwater West, where scenes from many famous films have been shot, including some from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Take the children to Manor Wildlife Park, 6.5 miles away, or Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, 10.5 miles away.
