Villa Maya is a hidden treasure just off the main road in Teges, a neighbourhood about 10 minutes by car from Ubud Center. From the moment you walk through the wooden gateway, you enter a private world with lush gardens and luxurious comfort. Here you have the best of both worlds with a walled villa set among the rice paddies that is only a short walk from a variety of restaurants, convenience stores, small vendors selling delicious Balinese food and a local fruit and vegetable market. The villa is a delight in every way. Set around a swimming pool, this is Bali at it’s finest. The main living area is open to the pool and gardens and consists of comfortable furnishings, a well-appointed kitchen with full size fridge, stove, water cooler and microwave oven. There is a large fish pond located in the living room area and the soothing water sounds and lovely Koi fish add to the sense of tranquillity. Pretty bedrooms lead onto verandas with glass sliding doors showcasing the view of the pool and gardens. Both bedrooms are air conditioned, have full bathrooms with double sinks, a shower and tubs open to the sky. Queen size beds provide a comfortable resting place, and the Master Bedroom also has a desk if people are needing a place to work away from home. Enjoy your early morning coffee in the pagoda located in a separate area of the garden looking at the Gunung Agung volcano and the vibrant green of the rice fields. If you are looking for a beautiful Balinese experience slightly off the beaten track, in a comfortable beautiful space, the Villa Maya is a great destination. You will love it here.

My brother and I really enjoyed our stay at Maya. We loved it while we just stepped into it’s more beautiful than pics. Well maintained garden, beautiful small pool, clean and spacious rooms/bathrooms. Its definitely a gem in busy Ubud which is located in a quite area but not far from center. Iluh took good care of us and always tried her best to help and arranged things for us. Thanks !
We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Maya, so much we even extended our stay TWICE! Iluh was a fantastic, friendly, kind and helpful host. Komang prepared a beautiful breakfast every morning at a time that suited us. We even enjoyed a special floating breakfast one morning. The villa was a safe and peaceful haven where we enjoyed relaxing by the pool. The villa is spacious and has everything you need. The bathrooms are AMAZING. It's easy to order a Grab taxi from the villa to take you anywhere around Ubud or get food delivered. We felt like we were staying in pure luxury during our stay and always knew Iluh was available for any questions we had. We would highly recommend a stay here. Best place we've stayed in in Indonesia.
The villa was absolutely stunning. Easily our favourite accomodation that we've had on our many trips to Bali. It’s exactly what you see in the pictures and it was an incredibly peaceful haven from the business of other parts of Ubud. Between the air conditioned rooms, the open air living space and dipping in the pool, we never wanted to leave. Everything we needed was available. There’s a very sweet coffee shop and a few very nice restaurants right close by, but you’re in a very quiet area with a mix of locals and villas. The house manager, Iluh, and her staff Komang were great. They were both very helpful and so friendly! Iluh helped to arrange transport and advise on activities and Komang cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning. We loved Villa Maya!
From the moment we arrived we were enchanted with this beautiful home and the gorgeous setting in the green rice fields. The pool and gardens are lovely, the bedrooms comfortable, the bathrooms excellent and the kitchen well equipped. A total delight to have been able to stay here. Just wish it would have been for longer.

From Jalan Raya Goa Gajah, please find Jalan Sawah Indah. Follow the street about 400 meters. Just before Sawah Indah Restaurant you will find a temple and a road on the right hand side. Turn right and you will find our villa at the end of the road.
